It's never too late to learn how to dance! Since opening the doors of our studio in 1982, Sugar Land Dance Center has taught thousands of young people (and young at heart) how to dance.
Every Class Builds More Than Just a Dancer
At Sugar Land Dance Center, your child’s lessons go far beyond the steps. While mastering the art of dance, your child will explore math concepts, physics, anatomy, kinesiology and music theory. They’ll also pick up French through the language of ballet and add SAT vocabulary words along the way. Learning feels easy and fun because it’s built into every plié, turn and leap.
As your child grows, so do the lessons. Older dancers learn time management, perseverance, goal-setting, leadership and teamwork. These strengths carry them from the dance floor to the classroom to the boardroom.
The Mindset That Lasts a Lifetime
After working with thousands of young dancers, Sugar Land Dance Center knows that one of the most valuable things your child will take away is a growth mindset. Through dance, your child will learn that mastering any skill, whether a perfect pirouette or a difficult math problem, happens one step at a time.
